Tokiwa Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026/06

Tokiwa ("the App") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the App handles.

1. Information we collect

The App collects no personal information. The schedules, to-dos, goals, templates, and settings you enter are stored only on your device and are never sent to the developer or any third party.

2. Notifications

All notifications are local notifications generated on your device. No data is sent to any server or external service for notifications.

3. Analytics & tracking

The App performs no analytics, advertising, or tracking, and uses no third-party analytics SDKs.

4. In-app purchases

The "Tokiwa Pro" purchase is processed through Apple's App Store / StoreKit. Handling of purchase information follows Apple's privacy policy. The App does not obtain or store payment information.

5. Reminders access (optional)

Only if you turn it on in Settings, the App syncs your to-dos two-way with Apple Reminders (a Tokiwa Pro feature). This feature uses iOS Reminders access to read and write your to-dos in a dedicated "Tokiwa" reminders list. Any such data is exchanged only with Reminders on your device (and your iCloud, if you have iCloud sync for Reminders enabled); it is never sent to the developer or any third party. You can turn this off at any time, and doing so does not delete your existing reminders.

6. Calendar access (optional)

Only if you turn it on in Settings, the App reads Apple Calendar to overlay today's events on your pie chart (a Tokiwa Pro feature). This feature only reads today's events (start and end times) — it never modifies or deletes them. Anything read is handled only with Calendar on your device (and your iCloud, if you have iCloud sync for Calendar enabled); it is never sent to the developer or any third party. You can turn this off at any time.
